Global Imaging Systems Expands Business in Iowa and Illinois with RK Dixon Acquisition
TAMPA, Fla. --
Global Imaging Systems (GIS), A Xerox Company (NYSE: XRX), has acquired Iowa-based company, RK Dixon, a leading provider of IT services, copiers, printers and managed print services with locations in seven Iowa and Illinois cities.
The acquisition furthers GIS’ coverage of central Illinois and eastern Iowa, building on the company’s strategy to create a nationwide network of locally based companies focused on customers’ needs to improve business performance through efficiencies.

Bryan Dixon will remain as company president and CEO. Jeff Dixon will remain as president of Information Technology. RK Dixon has office locations in Davenport and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Bloomington, Champaign, Peoria, Rockford and Springfield, Illinois.
