New Jersey’s Department of Human Services’ Medicaid Division signed a $76-million contract extension for Xerox to continue managing healthcare benefits for NJ FamilyCare, a federal- and state-subsidized health insurance program that provides access to affordable healthcare for uninsured children.

Xerox (NYSE: XRX) has enabled Mississippi and New Mexico state Medicaid agencies to complete federally mandated HIPAA operating rules system enhancements – making them the first states in the nation to reach the Jan. 1, 2013 deadline.
